Prince of the Sea
Island myth, or guarded secret…
…destiny lures Jonathan home.
Jonathan’s ten-year relationship with Paul has lost its spark, so in a last-ditch effort to rekindle the passion they once shared, Jonathan rents a seaside cottage in his boyhood hometown: Tybee Island, Georgia, a quaint, tiny coastal islet he abandoned long ago.
However, the romantic surprise backfires royally when his partner rushes off to woo a high-profile client in Chicago, leaving Jonathan alone and brokenhearted. He tries drowning his agony on the beach with loads of alcohol, but nothing seems to ease his gut-wrenching pain.
That’s when Jonathan notices a swimmer caught in a riptide, desperate to stay afloat. Without hesitation, the West Coast transplant races to the water’s edge, trudging through seawater before diving headlong into the raucous surf. Soon, he too, falls victim to the fierce undertow, struggling to reach the surface and fearing the worst.
Then a mighty force slams into him from behind, causing him to blackout. When he regains consciousness, Jonathan realizes he is surrounded by horrified beachcombers, all staring at his half-naked body.
How did Jonathan get to shore?
What happened to the drowning man?
And, who is the mysterious old woman gaping at him from afar?

Eyes For You
“I killed him.”
Thus, begins the emotional evening of Geoff and Alan Marks-Green’s visit to Atlanta, where Geoff is to write a feature article of the once-exquisite hotel, the Atlanta Biltmore, for Architectural Digest. The trip begins rocky when the desk clerk tries to give the young, gay married couple a room with two beds, rather than the king suite they reserved. Mishap averted, Geoff and Alan begin a cursory tour of the mammoth structure on their own, before a more formal tour scheduled the next day.
The couple comes upon a spectacular, large portrait in a gilded frame of a stunning young man in historical military dress. While admiring the painting of William Gabriel Daschle, a screen actor who appeared in Gone with the Wind, they are joined by the former manager of the Biltmore. Charles is a peculiar old man wearing frayed, rumpled clothing, with rheumy eyes and dark spots covering his hands.
After inviting Geoff and Alan to his rooftop apartment, Charles shares a fascinating story of wistful, forbidden love, of corporate greed…and of an endearing loss that will forever leave its indelible mark on both young men.
Times Rainbow: Writing Ourselves Back Into American History (The Time’s Rainbow History Series Book 1)

Fourteen talented authors have represented events in the historical timeline from the 1600’s Salem Witch Trials to 1970’s hijacker DB Cooper.
